Babel Music XP Round Table

On March 23rd, Manag’Art was invited to participate in a round table discussion as part of Babel Music XP.

The Babel Music XP festival is an international event serving the public interest. It aims to contribute to the revival of a music sector that is facing new challenges. To gather, exchange, share among the different actors of the sector. But also, to stimulate the economy of a changing ecosystem and to capture the pulse of global musical creation.

Professional meetings, concerts, showcases, exhibitors will be there. Judyth will be part of the discussion hosted by Antoine Dabrowski : “Cross-views : equal access for genres in the music sector”. She will be joined by Alexandra Archetti Stolen (Oslo World), Maud Gari (Le LABA), Germaine Kobo (Arts & Musiks du Monde) and Yacko (artist). 

In a world where discrimination reduces the opportunity for women and minorities to participate in education, employment, political and public decision-making. The cultural sector sometimes experiences innovative practices and spin-offs to combat inequality. These new approaches, from the music industry, are often ahead of the evolution of customs and regulations. Through testimonies, this meeting offers an insight on transformation and transmission initiatives. All this is concentrated at the heart of the music sector, in terms of the political and geographical context specific to each territory.
